The Garden of Pojega lies within our historic estate, Guerrieri Rizzardi, in the heart of Valpolicella. In autumn, this corner of the world comes alive: the garden turns shades of rust and red, the vine rows around it glow golden, and the air fills with the aroma of ripe grapes and fermenting must.
Right at the garden’s entrance, in the 17th-century courtyard, you'll find our wine shop, where you can discover and buy our wines – from Ripasso Pojega to Amarone Riserva Villa Rizzardi – all crafted from the surrounding vineyards.
The vineyards surrounding Pojega are the same from which the wine you’ll taste is born: here, just steps from the garden, during harvest weeks, the best grapes are hand-picked, bunch by bunch, and carefully selected for the traditional appassimento process – a method that concentrates colour, sugars, and tannins.
To make the experience even more complete, you can book a guided tasting, optionally paired with a picnic basket filled with local products. A truly authentic way to savour the Valpolicella in autumn, surrounded by changing colours and the rhythm of the land.
